Talent Analytics will play a critical role in the design,
implementation and management of compensation and talent management
programs.Reporting into the Director of Talent Management and
Compensation, this individual will leverage strong technical and
operational expertise to enhance and develop compensation programs
and policies, drive automation and optimization to HR processes,
and move the organization forward in data-driven decision making.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who seeks to
create, design and implement.While the role will primarily focus on
enhancing and building our compensation programs and policies, this
role will also support all talent and performance initiatives
alongside other members of the team. The role will involve
automation, reporting and strategy build and requires a candidate
with both the technical and operational skillsets.Essential Job
Duties & ResponsibilitiesCompensation
- Design, enhance and implement compensation programs and
policies for Professional Staff that align with the firm's
goals.
- Manage compensation projects through transformational
initiatives such as job architecture and the design of career
frameworks.
- Refine and enhance salary structures to ensure market
competitiveness.
- Manage and enhance budget tracking through analysis, executive
presentations, working in close partnership with Finance. Present
findings to senior leaders.
- Conduct market analyses to stay abreast of market trends and
ensure competitive advantage in recruiting efforts and annual
compensation planning.
- Develop and deliver education for managers and staff on
compensation practices.
- Facilitate the compensation planning process and manage ongoing
enhancements to Workday configuration, reporting and
communications, in partnership with HR Technology.
- Support implementation of Workday efforts relating to
compensation, alongside the design and roll-out of comprehensive
reports.Talent and Performance
- Support the ongoing enhancement and implementation of new
Performance Management tools, including design and adoption of
vendor platforms.
- Create self-service HR and client tools leveraging automation
in Excel and other tools to support data-driven decision
making.General
- Design and run comprehensive reports, integrating multiple data
sources with a keen eye for data integrity; Analyze data for senior
management and HR consumption.
- Create automated tools through Excel and PowerBI that process
raw data reports to generate client-ready materials, dashboards,
etc.
- Optimize manual processes through automation, along with
creation of self-service tools for HR and business partners.
- Analyze people-related data to support proactive strategy &
process development.
- Partner closely with HR and business partners in the roll-out
of new processes and Workday implementation.
- Create Executive-level presentations by synthesizing key
findings from analyses.
- Manage and/or coordinate multiple assignments and projects with
cross-functional teams and other duties as assigned.
- Support data-driven decision making through the use of
analytics with compensation and talent-related
data.EducationRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Human Resources, Business
Administration, or related field involving Analytics.Preferred
- Master's degree in Data Analytics or related field.Skills and
ExperienceRequired
- 5+ years of experience in compensation management preferably
within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of compensation practices, benchmarking
methodologies and compliance requirements.
- Strong query, reporting, and analytical skills to analyze,
automate and derive insights leveraging tools such as R, SQL,
PowerBI and Python.
- Ability to create executive presentations and communicate
effectively to senior audiences.
- Experience leveraging Workday for Advanced Compensation and
report building.
- Excellent analytical skills; proficiency in financial modeling
and data analysis.
- Experience building dashboards with Power BI and SQL.
- Comprehensive experience with Data Analytics, including
advanced Excel skills and complex formulas (Macros, Vlookup, Pivot
Tables, Index Match, etc.).
- Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint required.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, be
flexible, handle highly confidential information appropriately, and
have exceptional attention to detail.
- Must possess a combination of strategic and critical thinking
skills, collaboration skills, and strong analytical ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the
ability to interact with a diverse group of subject matter experts
and managers.
- Aptitude for working effectively in a team setting as well as
independently.
- Must be capable of operating with tact and discretion and
maintain utmost confidentiality of personnel

- Experience with People and Talent Analytics.Salary
InformationNY Only: The estimated base salary range for this
position is $130,000 to $160,000 at the time of posting.The actual
salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including
without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant
for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education
attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and
if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or
from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt
