  • Conduct comprehensive risk audits in line with company policies and regulatory requirements, specific to market risk.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage a diverse team of audit professionals, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve internal controls and processes.
  • Analyze financial data to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and integrity within the organization.The Successful ApplicantA successful 'VP of Risk Audit' should have:
    • 6+ years of market risk or market risk audit experience.
    • Proven experience in risk auditing within the financial services industry.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
    • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.
