We're looking for an experienced Project Controls Engineer to support large, complex civil construction projects in the aviation sector. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation while preparing and delivering comprehensive project performance reports and analyses. • Prepare and coordinate monthly progress reports and ad hoc reports in collaboration with project task leaders.
• Provide support to discipline leads (cost, schedule, and contracts) with various project controls functions as needed.
• Prepare and deliver reports on project progress, scheduling, budgeting, construction costs, and contractor performance for both short- and long-term planning purposes.
• Coordinate and develop monthly progress and ad hoc reports in collaboration with project task leaders.
• Support discipline leads (cost, schedule, and contracts) with project controls functions, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Assist with the development and review of construction and CPM schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Evaluate and process contract payment requests on a monthly basis, including cost estimation and management of change orders.
• Manage and organize project documentation to support project controls and change order management efforts.
• Research project documentation (e.g., plan sets) to define project milestones and sequencing.
• Read and analyze project diaries to assign WBS codes and assist in creating as-built CPM schedules.
• Assist with issue resolution and claims documentation to support project success and compliance.
• Ensure consistent and accurate reporting to the Program Controls Manager.Skills and Attributes

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 4+ years' experience in a similar role.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Preferred Qualifications
      • Previous work experience in heavy civil construction.
      • Beginner to intermediate proficiency with Primavera P6.
      • Experience with SAP and ICMS software programs.The salary range listed for this role is $62k-$104k/yr ($30-$50/hr).
