Overview
American Management Association (AMA), a world leader in management
development, is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager who will
work closely with our Marketing staff to review marketing content,
optimize course schedules, deliver data analysis that supports
strategic marketing initiatives, and assist with daily tasks to
drive attendance and repeat business. This individual will have a
strong focus on growing AMA's Artificial Intelligence ("AI")
product line, i.e., seminars, on-demand learning assets, events,
panel discussions, webcasts etc. and other assigned product
offerings to achieve revenue goals. This role will also help in
researching, evaluating and supporting new and existing
partnerships and reseller relationships.
Responsibilities
Work with Direct and Digital Marketing teams and Creative Services
to assist in developing promotional strategies for AMA's "AI in the
Workplace" and other assigned product lines that build brand
awareness, generate qualified leads and drive revenue.
Collaborate closely with Learning Solution Managers and external
Subject Matter Experts to stay current in the AI landscape to
identify future trends.
Gather, summarize and analyze competitive intelligence with a key
focus on AI offerings.
Review multi-media marketing copy for accuracy and consistency,
executing updates when necessary.
Secure tracking codes and discount codes for campaigns to measure
effectiveness
Assist with email promotions and building the email calendar for
public seminars.
Analyze purchase activity, registration trends, and campaign
results for AI courses and other public seminars to positively
impact future growth opportunities.
Assist in the planning and scheduling of AMA course offerings.
Assist with customer research and member surveys, reporting results
and statistics.
Improve communications with new and repeat seminar customers to
promote next-step courses and other resources that reinforce
lessons learned.
Respond to partner and affiliate requests to assess the viability
of potential reseller relationships.
Other related duties
Qualifications
BA/BS in Marketing or related field required
At least 2 years of work experience in marketing or related
role
Demonstrated expertise in professional services marketing
environment preferred
Strong background in Artificial Intelligence and its use in the
workplace preferred
Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects
Excellent analytical and spreadsheet skills and experience with all
Microsoft Office applications
Excellent networking and relationship building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and work through challenges, seeking
guidance when necessary
Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
and a positive attitude
