DOReporting to the Senior Director of Transplant Programs, the
Transplant Initiatives Manager will provide management and
execution support for NKF's transplant patient programming,
partnerships, and initiatives. These efforts serve overall
organizational goals to increase living and deceased donor
transplants and increase access to donation and transplantation.
The Transplant Initiatives Manager will work closely with Programs,
Corporate Relations, Government Relations, NKF field offices, and
other internal teams to ensure clear coordination on
cross-functional projects, providing project management, data
analysis, process monitoring, and communications support. The
Transplant Initiatives Manager can expect opportunities to work
closely with external partners in the transplant and kidney spaces
on diverse projects related to increasing transplantation,
including research and grant opportunities.
- Provide superior project management to support the execution of
major transplant-related organization projects, including meeting
coordination and logistics, data analysis, and project management
across multiple teams.
- Develop materials to communicate project progress, data
findings, and other key results to stakeholders, including
PowerPoint slides, written reports, and other formats as
needed.
- Develop and maintain timelines for relevant projects, programs,
and initiatives, ensuring that deadlines, deliverables, and quality
standards are met or exceeded.
- Manage grant and research projects as identified, including
assembling and submitting grant applications, providing logistical
support, participating in research activities, and providing
superior project management support.
- Provide feedback on NKF's Transplants for All strategic
planning process, including ideation, prioritization, and
feasibility assessments.
- Responsible for monitoring ongoing transplant partnerships,
programs, and projects.
- Organize and manage Transplant Advisory Committee logistics for
meetings and teleconferences, providing support to Committee
members and ensuring clear and continuous communication.
- Produce regular internal reports on transplant efforts,
including analyzing qualitative and qualitative program data from
multiple sources.
- Work with internal departments and external partners to
establish processes for key transplant efforts.
- Contribute ideas and expertise for continually improving our
transplant efforts and prioritizing patient needs, especially with
a focus on addressing access challenges in kidney
transplantation.
- Perform additional duties, as required.WHAT YOU'LL POSSESS
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Master's in health-related or social services field,
preferred.
- Minimum three years of related work experience managing
projects and/or programs.
- Experience working for a healthcare organization.
- Experience in executing research grants strongly
preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, time-management and organizational
skills.
- Fluent in Microsoft Word applications and open and able to
learn additional software tools.
- Flexible for less than 10% overnight business travel, including
