in JFK Airport (Queens, NY) we're looking for?Your future roleTake
on a new challenge and apply your strategic and operational
expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside
dedicated and dynamic teammates. You'll provide overall leadership
responsibility and accountability for the success of a large
Service Delivery Center (SDC) at JFK Airport. Day-to-day, you'll
work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Business
Development, Customer Service), ensuring the execution of strategic
visions and engagement strategies, and much more.We'll look to you
for:
- Demonstrating business expertise with the ability to develop
"win-win" situations with customers, drive budget management, and
map out clear strategies for life asset management.
- Developing and assuming accountability for strategic
Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) vision at the SDC and leading
by example to foster a true safety culture.
- Serving as a source of professional advice for solving
significant customer problems and initiating commercial
propositions for value-added projects.
- Leading multi-skilled and cross-functional teams, including
technical staff, to bring resolution to complex problems.
- Communicating a clear and understandable vision to all levels,
understanding the audience, and modifying the message so all
understand.
- Communicating strategic and functional visions to all SDC
Employees through managers and ensures execution alignment.
- Developing and cascading engagement strategies to the SDC
employees and relying on Managers/Supervisors to ensure employee
engagement.
- Challenging individuals to develop skills outside of their
comfort zone and identifying and developing successors to key
roles, including your own.
- Managing P/L accountability for the site.All about youWe value

- Degree in Engineering, business or other related field, Masters
degree (MBA) preferred.
- Experience or understanding of developing and leading similar
organizations, preferably in the transportation industry with
profit & loss responsibility.
- Knowledge of transportation business or similar organizational
structures.
- Familiarity with strategic Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS)
practices.
- Proven leadership skills in an organization with multiple
functions and disciplines.
- Ability to understand underlying needs and motivations to
maximize team engagement.
- Competence in removing internal and external roadblocks to
facilitate problem-solving.
- Network of support, both internally and externally, to achieve
goals.
- Influence skills to obtain buy-in and support for actions.
