Current Global is looking for an experienced earned media
strategist with deep media relationships they can leverage on
behalf of their clients. Constantly curious about what comes next
in business, culture, and media, they must be passionate about
storytelling, building innovative earned media strategies, pitching
media, and leveraging the intersection of earned, influencer,
social, and paid strategies to accelerate ideas across our
connected media world.About YouYou are a culture vulture with an

media programs. You are ready to take on the responsibility for
managing earned media specialists across the agency, fostering best
practices across client campaigns, and leading the strategy and
execution of successful initiatives for key clients. You don't shy
away from implementing media strategies from concept to execution,
finding new ways to meet client objectives and achieve results.Your
Skills
- Trusted Advisor and Business Partner: Providing proactive and
reactive strategic media counsel to key clients.
- Translate Communications Strategies: Seamlessly convert to
relevant, timely and engaging story narratives.
- Development and Execution of Earned Media Strategies: While
connecting with teams to develop integrated approaches.
- Craft Compelling Stories: Designed to earn positive client
headlines and coverage.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Forge strong connections with
key media contacts to leverage on behalf of clients.
- Be Ahead of the Curve: Actively monitor for and be an early
adopter of new media trends, platforms, and practices that could
serve clients across our portfolio.
- Understand the Role of Paid Media to Accelerate Earned Media
Campaigns: Work with paid media and affiliate teams to amplify
content.
- Have Your Finger on the Pulse: Identify news cycles, cultural
shifts, industry trends and issues that affect clients, distilling
meaningful insights and inserting clients' narratives in targeted,
relevant and insightful ways.
- Bring Ideas to the New Biz Table: Contribute to new business
opportunities and pitches with creative media ideas.
- At least 8 years of experience: in PR and earned media; agency
experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: verbal and
written.
- Strong decision-making and project management skills: deadline
and detail oriented.
- In-depth knowledge: of the evolving media landscape.
- Experience working with integrated teams: and on integrated
campaigns.
- Social media and influencer marketing literacy.
- Some experience: with reputation/issues/crisis management.About
