Together, let's empower people everywhere to live their healthiest lives.Summary of PositionThe Manager, Workplace Services supports the continuous operation and improvement of our office spaces in the U.S., including site security, property maintenance and project-based initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Office role with a daily office presence required five days a week in our New York City office.
• Oversee company offices located in New York City.
• Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of exempt and non-exempt staff including janitorial and security.
• Delivery of maintenance and repair services for all hard and soft equipment at assigned office(s).
• Coordinate site safety programs, i.e., first aid/AED training.
• Work with the Director in allocating and managing space in office buildings.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and leadership regarding facilities issues.
• Maintain daily oversight of both hard (HVAC & Air Filter Vendors) and soft services (Janitorial, Pest Control, Fire/life safety vendors) for the office.
• Support the Director of Workplace in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the operations center and individual departments.
• Ensure compliance with Teladoc Health minimum audit standards.
• Coordinate discussions with selected vendors or suppliers regarding goal setting, performance criteria, and performance review.
• Work with the Director of Facilities to source local services and goods needed to perform day to day operations through 3rd party suppliers.
• Partner with the Director of Workplace Services on all operating budgets.
• Support local site leaders with office-based events or projects as needed.

  • High school degree required, bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in facilities management (FMP, CMP) a plus.
  • Superior customer service skills and orientation.
  • Ability to maintain consistent professionalism under stressful situations.
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints.
  • Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to direct responses during emergency situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to provide direction to staffPreferred Qualifications Expected for Position
    • Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and collaborative style needed.
