Job Description: Nurse Leader - MSK Ambulatory Care Services (Commack & Hauppauge Outpatient) -Exciting Opportunity at MSK: -Join our team as a Nurse Leader at one of our Long Island Ambulatory Outpatient centers. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on our team and in the lives of our patients and their families. -Position Overview:

• Work in a highly collaborative interprofessional practice environment.
• Plan, direct and manage the clinical and operational functions of the ambulatory care services of Medical Oncology and Dermatology during all hours of operation.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for nursing staff by developing and implementing programs, services, procedures, and quality nursing standards to ensure exemplary care for patients undergoing treatment at MSK.
• Will play a pivotal role in offering transformational leadership by creating and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports, furthers, and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice, and patient safety. -Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration
  • National Certification is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skillsCore Skills:

      • Location: Covering both sites at Outpatient 650 Commack Road. Smithtown, NY and 800 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge NY
      • Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation
