Job Information: 3rd shift = Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Located in Eatontown, NJ
Permanent position, contract to perm
Paying $25 - $26 per hour

Overnight Production - Lead Machine Operator Information: Schedule: 3rd shift (M-F, 11p-7am)

Overnight Production - Lead Machine Operator Responsibilities: Leads the production goals for 3 - 4 other machine operators tasked with running machinery that helps manufacture bank cards (think plastic credit cards, metal credit cards, chip insertion & magnetic strip application, quality checks, etc.)
Operates high-speed production machinery designed to manufacture credit cards at bulk scale. Significant time and training is provided on all our equipment.
Reads customer order sheets to understand what is needed to set-up machinery.
Preforms quality checks by inspecting the data on the card (viability test) using chip/card reader (training provided) Also tests product for functionality which includes electronic sensor testing (significant training is offered).
Heavily uses computerized system to update data on file. Use of computer is equally important as running the machinery and 50% of the work time will be entering data and working on the computer uploading data into the manufactured component. (significant training offered).
Changes basic parts on machinery such as plates, guards, sensors, lenses, and other basic fittings.
Protects the integrity of customer orders and customer data. Chain of custody sheets (paper & electronic) will be signed off for each batch of product once it is completed and passes from one station to another.
Maintains a clean, neat and well organized work area. Follows written procedures, monitors equipment and communicates with management when issues arise or supplies become low.
Preforms a variety of other duties as assigned. We are a small operation and share responsibilities, help one another on the team and pitch-in wherever needed.
This is a highly secure manufacturing location in Eatontown, NJ


Overnight Production - Lead Machine Operator Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education or vocational / technical training is highly desired.
Must be able to work in a Federally regulated work environment (banking).
At leas one (1) year experience operating production machinery
Must possess attention to detail, able to accurately preform quality inspection of product
Strong computer skills are a must. Must be comfortable working on a computer most of the time and be able to navigate software with limited basic skills training. Example: it is expected one already knows how to open a basic MS Excel spreadsheet and save work.
Must have legible handwriting and be able to write neatly and concisely
Must be able to preform basic data entry and ensure accuracy
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, carry material, etc.
