Job Information:

Contract to hire, located in Parlin, NJ
We distribute replacement parts. Our parts are customize rubber belts, straps and harnesses used on industrial machinery and equipment.
Schedule/hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Paying $24 - $25 per hour (based on experience)


Service Advisor / Inside Customer Service Responsibilities:

Learns product line, becomes familiar with different lines of rubber product and associated accessories, lubricants, etc.
Works closely with new customers, learns and understands their equipment, issue and problem. Develops and sells a solution.
Handles sale inquiries through internet, email, and phone inquiries, some walk-in customers. Many orders are repeat business.
Develops and maintains a deep understanding of our product line.
Updates and manages the company website, including posting pictures of items on sale and other updates.
Delivers customers orders to Warehouse Associates/Manufacturing Technicians for fulfillment and explains orders to co-workers based on customer interactions / knowledge
Provide customer support by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Assist in inventory management.
Perform administrative tasks, as needed.


Service Advisor / Inside Customer Service Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: Rubber products, General Industrial Supplies, Bearings, Industrial Belts, Inventory Control.
Proficiency in computer skills including ERP management and MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
