VNY (VINTUS New York) is looking for salespeople in New York
State.VINTUS New York is looking to expand our sales team in
Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island. Our portfolio and presence has grown
significantly in the past five years, and we need a few more great
salespeople to help tell the stories of our incredible
producers.Founded in 2004 by President and CEO Michael Quinttus,
VINTUS has become a leading importer in the United States, with
exclusive rights to Champagne Bollinger, Guigal, Chateau de Nalys,
Le Fleur Petrus, Ornellaia, Masseto, Masciarelli, Tommasi, Chateau
Montelena, Iron Horse and Gary Farrell, Quinta do Noval, and a
number of other world-class estates.The VNY portfolio also includes
over 100 estates that are sold exclusively in NY and are not
handled nationally by VINTUS. Highlights include Darioush, St.
Supery, Domaine Guillot-Broux, Remirez de Ganuza, Realm, La Guita
Manzanilla, Trediberri and Van Volxem. We also have the beautifully
curated Craft Spirits Portfolio, and the foremost importer of Sake
and South American wines in the country with Vine Connections.We

applicants are welcome.Responsibilities:- Opening on-premise
accounts in Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island and expanding sales and
relationships with the 50+ accounts in the existing territory.-
Selling the entire VNY portfolio to restaurants and retail shops
with a focus on Brooklyn.- Working with our suppliers when they
visit Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island.- Pouring at in-store tastings
and conducting staff training weekly.- Attending weekly sales
events, including sales meetings in our Manhattan
office.Qualifications:- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience and
success in the WINE & SPIRITS INDUSTRY preferably on (specify
territory)- A well-established network of key on & off-premise
accounts in Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island.- A self-motivated,
positive, energetic attitude and ability to work closely with your
customers, colleagues, and suppliers.- Strong organizational,
speaking, and analytical skills.- Ability to plan all aspects of
your business independently and efficiently: budgets, resources,
time.- Computer skills that allow you to effectively use standard
business programs and sales reporting systems.- Strong knowledge of
international fine wines, craft spirits and sake with a desire to
