We offer a dynamic and stimulating work culture, as employees are part of a greater team and purpose that collaborates with different departments, brands and business units.JOB SUMMARYNew Product Development is responsible for working cross-functionally to deliver launches on time, at cost, and at the correct package conception and product quality.This role requires strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as basic product development and execution abilities. High collaboration with Japan HQ counterparts and cross-functional team members is needed to ensure all necessary learning, qualification, and execution activities are completed in support of a successful launch. This individual is expected to manage a portfolio of projects, which may vary between special projects or kits and existing or new product development projects.WHAT YOU WILL DOYou will lead product required changes from project brief generation to ATS (Available to Ship) ensuring timing, quantity, cost, and KPI targets are achieved following a Stage Gate approach.You will drive multiple projects and work with cross-functional partners to ensure the required project tasks and key milestones are completed on time.You will utilize timeline management with MS Project and update timelines on a weekly/monthly basis. Ensure all critical milestones are on track and elevate any risk to avoid delays to ATS.You will lead all project meetings with internal and external (vendors and CM's) cross-functional partners and coordinate the seamless integration between Marketing, PD, R&D, Packaging, and all Operational functions involved in developing product-related projects.You will facilitate the costing process at different stages of the project throughout the launch cycle.You will be consistently challenged to reduce development lead-times by ensuring appropriate balanced risks are built into the original time plans, while ensuring all COGs, quality, and service requirements are achieved/exceeded.You will elevate risks and bottlenecks encountered during the end-to-end life cycle of the entire NPD process with the respective mitigation plans.You will develop working relationships with the following key stakeholders:Brand: Marketing, Finance, Global HQOperations: Packaging Engineering, Creative, NPC (New Product Commercialization), S&OP, Distribution Center, Quality, Production/Fillers (Internal & External), Procurement & FinanceR&D: Formulation and Regulatory.WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of project management experience in CPG or the Beauty Industry.
  • You work well with cross-functional teams and manage high volume projects within the team.
  • You have MS Project knowledge and experience required, along with Excel and Word.
  • You have exposure to production environments & interaction of packaging, process, manufacturing.
  • You can quickly analyze data and information from different places and compile it into a project plan or timeline.
  • You have a basic understanding of the end-to-end product development and launch process.
  • You have some degree of analytical, financial, and organizational skills (Required).
  • You have strong, clear written and verbal communication skills (Required).
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit: taking initiative and driving clarity and resolution.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree, preferred degrees include: Engineering (all specialties), Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Business.If this sounds like you, we want you on our team.
