Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Insurance, Risk, and
Litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee litigation matters in partnership with external counsel and
advise on best courses of action
Manage the company's insurance program and portfolio, executing
renewals and advising on claims management strategies
Provide strategic counseling to cross-functional partners regarding
risk assessment for existing and new services
Required Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Experience managing litigation in-house
Experience with insurance counseling and managing an insurance
portfolio, preferably in the transportation sector
13+ years of experience in relevant fields of law including
litigation, insurance, and in-house counseling
Proven ability to present data-backed proposals and manage
consultants
