Job Description:
Seeking a Respiratory Manager to be responsible for overseeing
the daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy department, with a
primary focus on Pediatrics. This position reports directly to the
Administrative Director of Cardiopulmonary Services and supervises
department personnel, including department supervisors and
respiratory therapists. The manager will coordinate the work of
staff members, ensuring that respiratory therapy services meet the
highest standards of patient care and quality. When necessary, the
manager will provide respiratory therapy services on other
units.The Respiratory Manager will supervise, coordinate, and
support respiratory therapy staff, ensuring high-quality care for
pediatric patients and other units as needed. They will collaborate
with the Administrative Director to ensure department goals align
with hospital policies and standards, while ensuring compliance
with regulatory requirements and maintaining proper records of
respiratory therapy services. Additionally, the manager will
oversee the training, development, and performance evaluations of
department staff. They will monitor the quality of care provided by
respiratory therapists, addressing any issues promptly to ensure
optimal patient outcomes. The manager will also maintain equipment
and materials necessary for respiratory therapy services, ensuring
functionality and availability. If needed, they will step in to
provide direct patient care and support in other respiratory
