  • Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.Responsibilities
    • The overall responsibility of the Materials Management Supervisor is to supervise the daily operations and activities of the supply chain warehouse and/or the procedural area ordering, as well as assigned staff.
    • The responsibility will include receiving and delivering goods, and ensuring the transportation of materials and supplies are delivered in a safe and timely manner.
    • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
    • Additionally, this role includes the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spending and utilization data (Lawson, Epic, Excel) in support of inventory control and management.QualificationsJob Requirements:
      • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
      • Valid driver's license
      • Three (3) years of related experience of which one (1) year must have been in a supervisory capacityPreferred Job Requirements:
        • MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
        • Experience with the use of heavy equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, etc.
        • Ability to drive department-owned vehicles, including but not limited to a box truck
        • ERP system, such as Lawson, experience preferred
        • Warehouse organization and operational experience preferred
        • Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics
        • Understanding of how an ERP system increments and decrements inventory and the role this plays in an efficient healthcare supply chain setting
        • Knowledge of Epic decremented inventory
        • Understanding of operating room products and their uses
        • Training and hiring of new staff
        • Knowledge of PO pricing and GL interaction
        • Ability to analyze and interpret data and take action
